Bootloader Recovery

Step 1 — Reinstall Bootloader

Use this only if your module won't boot, the boot light isn't blinking, or you can't get it to say Daisy Bootloader when connecting. This reinstalls the Daisy bootloader, then you go back and flash your firmware.

Plug in your module and press BOOT, then click Connect Device. We'll check what mode it's in — if it's in recovery (DFU) mode, the Install button below will unlock. Use Chrome or Edge on desktop over HTTPS.

How Recovery Works

          
    
            
  1. Plug in your module and press BOOT, then click Connect Device.
    2. 
            
  2. If we detect recovery (DFU) mode, click Install Daisy Bootloader and wait for it to finish.
    3. 
            
  3. Power-cycle the module.
    4. 
            
  4. Click Go Flash Firmware to return, then flash your firmware normally.

  • Reinstalling the bootloader does not erase firmware stored in QSPI — it only restores the loader.
    • 
            
  • You can't damage the module doing this; the STM32 recovery mode is always available.
    • 
            
  • If we detect your bootloader is already working, we'll tell you — you can go straight back to flashing.
